Grappling Hook

Over some time of playing with people we have seen various methods of using the grappling hook please see below for some of those uses:
1. they can be used to pull monsters from an adjacent land
2. they have been used to cross gaps in lands for intance if your map was shaped like a C than you could move between the unconnected parts
3. they can be used to pull other people from an adjacent land

Uses 1 and 3 sounds like a cool way to use the Hooks. Especially if you're playing co-op and the other players are in trouble and they don't have a hook in their inventory. I'm trying to think of a use for the hooks that specifically involves Dragons. If you've seen or played Lost Planet 2, you'll know what I'm talking about.
